Alvin and I travel quite often a year and every time we do, Alvin always enjoys driving us around the country. We have driven around San Francisco through Jasper and Banff when we visited the Canadian Rockies for our honeymoon. We have also driven around Melbourne late last year!

It's because we drive, that we get to stop by scenic places as and when we like and spend more time there too. Here's some pictures taken at our Honeymoon!

Is your hair ageing faster than you? You’ve heard about skin ageing and know everything about it, but have you heard of hair ageing? When I first heard about it from TrichoKare, a leading Trichological centre that provide expert solutions on hair and scalp problems, I was excited to see what was in store for me!

It has been 5 months since we installed our new 3M™ Hot, Cold & Room Temperature Filtered Water Dispenser at home! It only got me wondering why didn't I get 1 earlier! This machine has been nothing short of convenience for my family and only got me wondering why I didn't get one earlier.

Hello from Vancouver! We are on our last leg of our 15-day honeymoon. It has been 6-18 degrees here so the air been pretty drying and sunny. Cause we would be away for 2 weeks, I packed full-sized toiletries for both of us; which includes this new shampoo and treatment from Botanist!
I really love the minimalist bottling of this brand. Together with their branding, Botanist, you can immediately tell that this brand strives on refreshing and natural ingredients. Both of us have fine, thin hair (Alvin with drier scalp that sometimes cause dandruff) and always prefer lighter, gentler shampoos. We were happy to read that Botanist products are made with 90% of water and natural plant derived ingredients gentle to the hair and scalp and water and silicone free.

Alvin is usually very particular with his shampoos because most off the shelf shampoos are too overpowering and give him dandruff and dry hair. But surprisingly, he loves this for the lightness and no dandruff! For those who have fine hair like me or concerned about dandruff like Alvin, you can give Botanist a try! The vegetable extract in the products bring back the natural elasticity of the hair and refreshes the scalp!

I usually avoid my scalp when I use treatment and concentrate more at the hair ends cause they tend to be drier. Especially since I just permed my hair ends last week, this treatment came handy.

Here's my hair looking soft and even pretty shining after about 10 washes! You can't tell that I just had them permed, can you? It is no wonder Botanist was awarded Best Shampoo Award in the UK’s biggest beauty related awards at The Beauty Shortlist in 2017 and is also Rakuten Top No 1 selling shampoo with over 200 million sold!

This series of shampoo and treatment also comes in Botanist Botanical Shampoo Moist A – Apricot & Jasmine and Botanist Botanical Treatment Moist A – Apple & Berry! Can't wait to try these variants too!

Botanist is priced at SGD26 each and you can get them from any Sephora Singapore stores, Sephora Singapore Online! More info on Botanist at their official page!

Took my family to Japan for 9 days! It was an amazing trip cause our family got to bond together and we will always try to make it a point to travel once a year together.
This was our first shot at Arashiyama! And that's me at Nara Park with Bambi!
We were there looking at deers and sightseeing for close to 3 hours!
You could tell, the places we visited are mostly outdoors and we had to walk a lot between places. Even though the weather was cool at 17 degrees on the average, it was really sunny and the air was dry.
Be it men or women, we want good skin and good skin comes from enough rest, water and proper skin protection.

Spent my Saturday with PUB at the opening ceremony of ABC Waters @ Siglap Canal (ECP to the Sea) project, the newly created lookout deck which on my left! It was great weather at East Coast Park! The ABC of ABC Waters stand for Active, Beautiful, Clean! There is also an open lawn where the community can look forward to gatherings and activities with unobstructed views of the waterfront! It was an activity-filled afternoon that drew crowds from all walks of life; there were children to young parents and grandparents too!

Hi! My name is Zoe and this is my second time on Nuffnang's featured blogger! Always an honor, thank you!
Time flies, the last time where I was, it was in 2012; that's 5 years back! There have been pretty a lot of changes in my life since the last. Then, was doing photoshoots and had recently began my career in my first job! Now, I am still in the same job but healthier. I had decided that I'm getting older and less trim so I took up yoga and have been a yoga fanatic since! Share with you more about yoga in a bit!

So I have been blogging since 2006... So you can roughly tell how old I am now. But I take it in my stride, the years gave me a lot of experience in life. Both good and bad.

I would say I still enjoy blogging just as much, though you can actually tell that micro-blogging via Instagram or Dayre are really popular now. I still stand by why I initially started blogging; my blog is my diary where I keep all things precious and beautiful, for me and you to go back to anytime in months or even years to come. There's no better way to keep these memories fresh!

So I went for my first yoga class with my sister Zonia, in May 2013. I have been addicted to it since. I use the hashtag #zoeyogaloving very regularly to monitor my progress!
Some people come to me to say that they don't seem to have improved after practicing for months, and find it demoralizing to continue practicing. But hey! Progress takes time and sometimes, you don't see improvements over weeks or even months! But trust me, there IS an improvement! You can also create your own hashtag and look back at them! You will be amazed, I promise!

I practice 4-5 hours a week at Pure Yoga and I only enjoy hot classes. I love a good sweaty time and friends ask "How do you find the motivation to practice for so many years now?" Definitely, there are days where I am lazy and find it tough to leave my bed. But really, the hardest thing is to get yourself on the mat. I pull myself up from bed, and when I flow, I feel energized and never once I regretted coming for class! It's that discipline and enthusiasm you have to find within yourself. Start by finding a sport you love!

The second question I get most would be "How do you find time to practice, I don't have time to exercise!" I used to say it a lot. But it's really just an excuse. I tell myself that 1 hour of workout a day only takes up 4% of my time a day! When the school's class schedule doesn't fit mine, I can self practice, I can go for a run or go to the gym.

This is the most challenging pose I have done! This is called Yoganidrasana!
I seen in once on a yogi Instagram and I screenshot it and told myself to try it one day! I actually screenshot MANY poses from the pros, and challenge myself! Maybe that's why I am still loving yoga after 4 years, I find new challenges for myself; I am always learning everyday, I can't finish mastering all the postures.
Another exciting thing for me in 2017 will be my wedding which my fiancé and I are trying keep it quieter.
Definitely not easy especially whenever I go Instagram LIVE and 70% of the questions are about the wedding! Haha! My fiancé's family are private people and so we would like to keep it lower profile. But yes! Preparations are never the easiest. I've settled the key things like the hotel, photography, gowns, suit so I can take a breather for now... I think? Haha!
Alvin and I both believe to love, heal and forgive to maintain a healthy and strong relationship. We seldom quarrel these 5 years. Probably just a few, that our fingers can count. But each time we do quarrel, we become stronger and closer. All these only possible through communication.

Turning 28 this 2017. Religiously taking care of my health by making sure I have sufficient rest, regular exercise, healthy diet and a good skincare regime. Started 2017 with these new skincare from NUXE!

I always thought of having a more rounded chin but never dared try because I am afraid of needles! But, I recently conquered my own fear and went for a chin fillers! I am so thankful to have Sheila with me! She took these pictures for me and I must say, I felt very minimal pain.

Hate to say that I am in my late 20s, sometimes I tell my friends that I prefer to use the term 20s instead. But like weight, age is truly just a number. I believe in taking good care of our health and skin, eat clean, exercise regularly and never be lazy on our skincare regime. These are the only ways we can help ourselves to not look our age, but a few years younger!
Here are the 5 simple rules that I follow!
1) Drink a lot of liquids
Every health guru tells us to drink enough water. Because insufficient water makes us fatique, gives us constipation and digestive problems which will all take a toll on your health and skin. I drink a glass of water every morning, 2 cups of green tea when I reach the office and about another 5 glasses of water for the rest of the day. I do not take and do not like carbonated drinks. I do not enjoy alcohol as well but well, I have heard the benefits of red wine for the heart and skin because of its antioxidants.

Spent the other sunny Saturday afternoon with friends over authentic Thai food and chilled Chang Beer at the Chang Sensory Trails at Bayfront event space! Till next year, Chang!

The last time round, I shared through a blog post about St. Ives range of bodywash and how each variant's ingredients will be beneficial to our body! This time round, I got to try their range of facial scrubs that got me excited because I know how important exfoliating is to keep my skin radiant!

Just a search on my older posts and I actually visited Macao twice in 2014. Once in Feb 14 and another time in the same year, in Dec 14 for Christmas! When someone mentions Macao, those piping hot and fresh Portuguese tarts, Pork Chop buns, 鸡鱼翅, 虾子面 comes to my mind instantly!

I always enjoy receiving Bio Essence's skincare products because their ranges are always formulated with really luxurious and superior ingredients for my skin.
