My First Mother's Day

Spent my first Mother's Day with my parents at Changi Airport. No other way I would want to spend it. We had brunch at Hello Kitty Orchid Garden Cafe, walked around before calling it a day. Arielle's sleep schedule goes haywire on weekends so we try to take her home by mid -day to wipe down. That Sunday night, she fell asleep on my shoulder at 7.30PM, woke up at 12AM and 4.30AM for dreamfeeds. Finally waking up at about 7AM in the morning! Can my Mother's Day wish be for her to have more of such good sleeping schedule!

Guan Dynasty

Our families are big fans of Dim sum and it is one cuisine we go for very often. We were invited by Guan Dynasty to give their new outlet a try. Brought all my dim sum kakis for this meal for a verdict!

What we ate on my Babymoon in Tokyo!

Cause we had so much food cause my husband was determined to feed me with good food. Our gynae suggested I eat more meat and that Japan could help me improve my appetite, we had more than 3 meals a day for a few days in Tokyo!

Didn't take much photos of our meals this trip, they were mostly on Instagram-stories! As we didn't run on an itinerary as well, I am trying my best to remember the names and addresses of the places we have been to that are worth visiting! (:

Last single birthday at Misato!

Was hosted by Misato and Brand Cellar at Misato for my last single birthday last week! Thank you for hosting me and my family, we had such a great meal. You fed us so well, we were truly spoilt. A big thank you for the surprise birthday cake too. I'm blessed.

Sunday is cheat day at Wah Kee Big Prawn Noodles! Zonia, Alvin and Jason are big fans of prawns so Wah Kee is always a good idea for them.

Date night at MONTI

Rare night out with love after work on a Wednesday evening. We went over to MONTI which is said to be The Most Beautiful Jazz Lounge In The World! MONTI is conveniently situated at Raffles Place, just opposite Alvin's office.

Dinner last week was at K-Tower is Singapore’s Best Value Tower Featuring Fresh-from-tank Seafood!

SBCD Korean Tofu House

My family loves Korean food and my Mom exceptionally loves tofu. She have tofu for at least 1 of her meals every day! So I was excited to take her and our family for dinner at the SBCD Korean Tofu House.

Hotel Jen Themed Buffets

Brought the family to Hotel Jen for dinner last Friday after work. There was no better way to wind down after a long work week and feast our hearts away at Hotel Jen's newly launched themed buffet! There are 5 new themed buffets weekly at J65 Hotel Jen Tanglin Singapore!! How exciting is that? all the more we can go back for more, no excuses needed for buffets; just what Alvin and my Dad are happy about! They love their buffets!

Steam Box

Heard a lot about this concept of steambox since 2016 but never had the opportunity to give it a try! I've seen so many pictures of people steaming their food and all the goodness will drip to the cooking porridge below and they have the porridge at the end of their meal. So this was exactly what we were in for at Steambox!

Melt-in-your-mouth Pineapple Tarts Recipe

Firstly, sorry that this recipe came so late!! It wasn't easy making pineapple tarts from scratch! Initially we thought that the pineapple jam was tough to prepare especially when we decided to make our pineapple from real pineapples instead of using Phoon Huat's pineapple jam. But the toughest thing was to make the pastry dough to our liking! I only managed to get the exact pastry dough I wanted 3 days before the Lunar New Year!
