Last single birthday at Misato!

Was hosted by Misato and Brand Cellar at Misato for my last single birthday last week! Thank you for hosting me and my family, we had such a great meal. You fed us so well, we were truly spoilt. A big thank you for the surprise birthday cake too. I'm blessed.

Misato  is at The Centrepoint, level 1 Gastro+. It's a small cosy restaurant with nothing but fancy plating. The owner actually spent 400K on them! Every plate, cup and saucer is so beautiful!
Misato uses premium ingredients imported directly from Japan. Every dish is freshly prepared upon ordering. And what we love best about Misato is that they assure no MSG in their food! Prices of most dishes on the menu is no more than $20.

Cha Soba $13.80
Everyone's favorite was this grand plating of Cha Soba. We had 2 servings for the 6 of us and it was not enough. The texture of the soba was so good and when we had Jap a few days later, Love was commenting that Misato's was so much better!

Okonomiyaki $14.90
Okonomiyaki got us missing Osaka a lot!! We had quite a bit of these while we were there and I've got to say, it is just as good! Definitely an item to go back for.

The one dish that was so elaborated and we got to grind our own sesame too! The sesame is soooo fragrant. The moment we started grinding, we could smell it!

Matcha Bavarois $7.80
Misato only serves premium quality green tea powder imported from Nara prefecture. We had a lot of fun with this Matcha Bavarois! It was so wobbly!! We took a lot of boomerang shots of it!

Sanshoku Warabi Mochi $8.80
Goma (black sesame), kinako (roasted soy bean) and matcha (green tea) are the 3 flavors on this plate. My favorite is the black sesame! I never had such soft mochi that literally could melt in your mouth. I was getting VERY full at this moment, if not i could have wiped off the whole plate by myself!
