ADIDAS PUREBOOSTX launch at the coolest venue, The Great Escape! Kudos to the team who made this launch such a great one!
Sakura by The Bay
We didn't manage to see sakura in action when we were in Japan 2 weeks back. So you can imagine how happy I was when I saw over Channel News Asia that our very own Flower Dome at the Gardens by The Bay will be having full bloom sakura!
Singapore International Water Week.
About About Singapore International Water Week:
The Singapore International Water Week (SIWW) is the global platform to share and co- create innovative water solutions. Comprising the Water Leaders Summit, Water Convention, Water Expo, Business Forums, Industrial Water Solutions Forum and TechXchange, it culminates in the presentation of the Lee Kuan Yew Water Prize, a prestigious international water award to recognize outstanding contributions towards solving global water problems. SIWW 2014 will feature discussions on four themes, namely: Municipal Water, Industrial Water, Integrated City-Environment-Water and Future of Water. The sixth Singapore International Water Week will be held from 1st to 5th June 2014, in conjunction with the World Cities Summit and CleanEnviro Summit Singapore. For more information, please visit www.siww.com.sg/!
I attended the Young Water Leaders Summit, which brings together young water leaders from around the world to engage in discussions on global water issues, empowering them to be effective catalysts for change in their regions and the world. Selected participants will represent the voice of the youth in the Water Leaders Summit, providing an opportunity for young water leaders to interact and share their ideas with established global water leaders from the public and private sectors.
Besides some valuable sharing by Ms Grace Fu, together with 35 different countries' young leaders, we had a dialogue session with Ms Fu, Minister, Prime Minister's Office, Second Minister for the Environment and Water Resources and Second Minister for Foreign Affairs! Ms Grace Fu shared the importance of good water and good public health. From supply of water to collection of water water to recycle of waste water, it is now all done by PUB here. Marina Barrage has a catchment area of 10,000 hectares, or one-sixth the size of Singapore, the Marina catchment is the island’s largest and most urbanised catchment.
Together with two other new reservoirs, the Marina Reservoir has increased Singapore’s water catchment from half to two-thirds of the country’s land area.
Since 2002, New Water stepped into our lives and though just slightly over a decade old, technology to implement New Water started as early as 20-40 years before!! That's definitely something new to me!!
Through school education and water rationing exercises done in the 60s, we have been taught how important water is. Being involved in Singapore International Water Week just served as a reminder of how we need to have a sense of ownership of water and protect water. In other countries, Water is treated as a natural occurrence so not treated previously.
Through this dialogue, I've increased my knowledge of water here in Singapore and through the sharing from other young leaders, I feel very lucky to be a Singaporean. Some of them shared the conditions they face back in their countries and how much they are impressed with our water technology and how we should share this technology with the other countries. Ms Grace Fu also shared that Singapore is always very eager to participate in Research and Development. We have a different attitude, holding clear goals towards water sufficiency, while other countries may be protective of their water. We have also exported our technology to other parts of the world like China and Africa.

Abacus Halloween Party!
How do i look? It's my very first time participating in Halloween! I didn't want to go devilish. I can't bear to uglify myself just yet. Abacus sponsored our outfits! So I got a cape and devil horns headband from Number 1 costume shop which was scouted by the committee members. We all went there to choose our outfits.
Our party was at Pump Room, Clarke Quay on actual day- 31st October, Wednesday. It took us 4 months of planning to make this happen. Get locations, props, costumes and put our very own performances into place. We also invited Hendra to do the official photography for us, as usual for our corporate events. You can email him at Hendra@eggpdn.com, you may get a good rate if you quote my name teehee! :D

The event started at 630pm and guests came pouring in after their work.
My client, Gary from CTC Travel.
Cause it was a weekday and afraid no one will dress up, we prepared props from them. They were pretty cheap, about $800 for all props! (:

I had Hendra videoed down the performances! Will share the link at the end of this post (:
