Tabirai - Car Rental Reservation in Japan

Alvin and I travel quite often a year and every time we do, Alvin always enjoys driving us around the country. We have driven around San Francisco through Jasper and Banff when we visited the Canadian Rockies for our honeymoon. We have also driven around Melbourne late last year!

It's because we drive, that we get to stop by scenic places as and when we like and spend more time there too. Here's some pictures taken at our Honeymoon!

Thank you, SweetEscape, for arranging this Babymoon photoshoot for us during our stay in Japan! We couldn't have captured these memories without you guys! If you didn't know, SweetEscape is the way to go if you are travelling and want some nice pictures without having the need to bring a tripod!

What we ate on my Babymoon in Tokyo!

Cause we had so much food cause my husband was determined to feed me with good food. Our gynae suggested I eat more meat and that Japan could help me improve my appetite, we had more than 3 meals a day for a few days in Tokyo!

Didn't take much photos of our meals this trip, they were mostly on Instagram-stories! As we didn't run on an itinerary as well, I am trying my best to remember the names and addresses of the places we have been to that are worth visiting! (:

Babymoon Day 2

We spent the morning of Day 2 at Harajuku with our photographer, Bram, from Sweet Escape! We received our photos 2 days after the shoot! Almost 200 photos, so I will share them in another post with our experience, definitely a great way for couples or family to go when you travel and want some nice memories captured!

Babymoon in Tokyo

Alvin says our baby is really lucky. She has visited USA, Canada, Australia and Japan even before she's born. So last week, we were in Japan for my last babymoon at my 22th week of pregnancy.

Dressed on 2 days this Japan trip by Le-Contour! Picked 2 of the dresses which I've actually already own in other colors cause I really love the fit and I know I will be flattering for my growing bump now!

Japan 2017- Kyoto

Took the family for a 9-day holiday to Japan just a week back. We were there from 10-19 May, to celebrate Mother's Day and Mommy's birthday which was just a day apart this year!

We had booked multi-sector with Singapore Airlines this time, landing in Osaka first and out from Tokyo on the 19th.

Visiting Arashiyama & Fushimi Inari Shrine in Kyoto

My travel buddies must have breakfast before they start each day. I stopped having breakfast after the 2nd day cause it is too early for me to eat anything. Hahaha! But here was a simple sandwich breakfast before we started the fulfilling day!

Nara Park!

We spent the day of Day 6 exploring Nara Park (奈良公園, Nara Kōen), a large park in central Nara! Nara Park is a five minute walk from Kintetsu Nara Station or a about a 20 minute walk from JR Nara Station. We were initially very excited to see the first few deers but after that, we got less excited haha because the park is home to hundreds of freely roaming deer!

Yamazaki Tour, Osaka

First stop for the day was some breakfast before we caught the train to head for the Yamazaki Distillery Tour and Tasting! The boys were really excited for this cause they really enjoy whisky!

Not a fan of coffee so only milk for me every morning! :D

Osaka, Japan

Someone asked for my itinerary but I didn't have it this time round. Japan's transport makes everywhere very accessible by public transport. In fact, we travelled everywhere by the JR/ train!

Shibuya, Tokyo

Headed over to Shibuya for more shopping after we conquered the whole of Harajuku!

It was also at Shibuya where I became Mrs Yang-to-be hehe lol

3 March 2016/ The Proposal

We arrived at Shibuya via train on 3rd March afternoon. I was still making him help me take some photos of me doing the crossing at the famous Shibuya scramble walk crossing.

Harajuku, Tokyo

Spent most of day 3 roaming the streets of Harajuku! Explored places where I haven't been before. First shot of the day was this where we were waiting to cross a road and there was perfect lighting and love captured my purple hair by Black Hair Salon so well.

Road Trip// Out of Tokyo City

Road trip out of Tokyo city to visit whisky distilleries today! The road trip was nothing but scenic views!

We went to pick up our rented car, oh boy I was on heels that day, thinking since it was going to be a road trip and I won't have to walk much... but the walk to find the car rental wasn't the smoothest. haha! So after we picked the car, we went to the family mart just next door to get our fuel for the trip! We always go crazy at supermarkets.
