This was taken at the window of our room, I love such windows!!
And some shots of my new set of nails by Christine from The Nail Status!
Ferrero's Nutella B-ready is really not bad! Crisp wafer of bread in the form of mini - baguette stuffed with creamy Nutella! A lot less sinful than the usual Kinder Bueno!
Love the glittery shimmer foils and lilac base! (:
On Day 2's itinerary was visiting the major churches in Rome!
The first church was St Paul outside the wall!

Archbasilica of St. John Lateran
before the lights were on
After our €1 offering, it lit up so beautifully and gold!
To the Colosseum next! Been there before so we didn't go in and it was also because the queue was really long! We took some photos outside, the photos were all taken with my iPhone because the skies were so blue and the lighting was just right!
Lunch at Cafe Café which is just across Colosseum!
It's a nice little cafe which is frequent by quite a number of locals! They serve very pretty meals like this croque which we got above!
Cafe Cafe

Before we went back to the apartment to take a rest, we decided to visit Fontana di Trevi which we initially wanted to skip.

Coins are purportedly meant to be thrown using the right hand over the left shoulder. The legend holds that a coin thrown into the fountain will ensure a return to Rome. This tradition also dates back to the ancient Romans who often threw coins in water to make the gods of water favor their journey or help them get back home safely. (Throw in a second coin if you’re seeking love – even a third for wedding bells!)
Out and about for dinner after a short rest!
We made a table reservation at il Gatto e l'Uva which is ranked #83 of 9,290 Restaurants in Rome! Day 1 and Day 2 dinners were our best meals this trip! Surprisingly, this meal was cheaper than day 1's dinner though we had more food!
Really packed so it is best you make a table reservation!
The best bread we had!!
Various Cheese selection €15
Cold cuts selection €14
This Paccheri pasta with lobster was only €22!
The catch of the day (bakery, stewed style, salt crust)
A whole Scorpion Fish which was €40! It was their catch of the day and this was big enough to share amongst 2 persons!
Ended the night with 2 huge pieces of Tiramisu to share!
This meal for 8 persons was €220! Considering we had a main each, lobster, meat and cheese platter and even wine and desserts!
