Back to Dongdaemun cause we didn't cover all of Dongdaemun on Day 2. But first, lunch! We didn't find any good reviews of Dongdaemun eateries so we randomly walked around after we took the exit 8 from Dongdaemun station.

We walked into this stall that serves the usual jjangmyeon, bibimbap and dumplings.
 photo DSC02269.jpg
We were enticed by the steaming hot dumplings at the entrance. They smelt so good! We had a feast! We had 3 mains, jjangmyeon, jjangbap, udon with fishcakes. 3 sides, 2 kinds of dumplings and seaweed rice balls!

The bigger dumplings had a lot of pork and some vermicelli in it while the smaller ones... we weren't too sue what they were, but Zonia who can read, write and converse in simple korean told us after our meal that it could be intestines omg.

My favorite and main was the seaweed rice balls! And best of all, the meal of so much food cost only 25,000 won!

There are so many malls in Dongdaemun! Koreans and foreigners actually go there to buy stocks.
 photo DSC02331.jpg
We randomly went into one of the malls, Good Morning, Magliore Mall at exit 13. If you are looking for work apparels like skirts, you can consider this place.

If you are there for just 1-2 pieces, be warned that the price will probably be high as compared to places like Bus Terminal Station or even Myeongdong.

Honey butter chips everyday!!

Saturday was also N Seoul Tower day. We initially scheduled to head there on Sunday, Mommy's birthday but the weather forecast said that it will pour the whole day so we were at N Seoul a day earlier.
Mommy is afraid of cable car rides so we took the slightly longer option up. We took Bus 5 from the bus stop just opposite our hotel in Myeongdong. The bus ride up to N Seoul was about 30 minutes. A walk to the cable car station from Myeongdong and able car up to N Seoul would take about 10-15 minutes?

First shot at N Seoul Tower for me was this yoga pose teehee. Thankful for my sister, she would help me align where exactly I should stand and such so my legs are even across the wood. Also because I am very OCD, she would probably have to retake if my legs weren't zhun (accurate) across hehe! Thanks Mei Mei!

Magical night view of Seoul just before we boarded the bus back to Myeongdong
N Seoul Tower
Nearest Station: Myeongdong station (Line 4)
Directions for cable car: Take exit 3, take the street on the right of Pacific Hotel and walk for 10 minutes.
Directions for bus: Take Bus 5 outside Pacific Hotel. You will see a pharmacy just behind the bus stop.

Took the bus back to Myeongdong and split up with our parents who aren't big fans of BBQ. Dinner was at the super popular 왕비집 Wangbijin. They are on every blog and I've personally been there and like it!

There are 3 outlets in Myeongdong!Wanted to go the one nearest to our hotel which is also the one I went to last year but it was super super packed! The queue formed on the steps, all the way from level 2 to ground! So went to the one nearest to the Tourist information office (next to Shinhan Bank) to ask for recommendations and it had far lesser crowd. We only had to wait for about 15 minutes!

Like most of our meals, left Zonia to order for us. The service at Wangbijin is always top notch. We tried to BBQ our own meat because the staff looked busy. But when one of the managers (the rest wore uniforms but this guy wore regular clothes) saw, he came over right away and took the tongs away from us!

Quality of the photos aren't the best because I didn't bring my camera out that evening! But the meal was so good... I had 6 servings of bean sprouts.

I love bean sprouts so much!!! Thankful, there were so many service staff, we asked for a refill from
a different person every time haha!

Bill was 41,000 won for 1 marinated beef, 1 pork cheek, 1 sticky brown rice.

왕비집 Wangbijin
Address: 26, Myeongdong 8ga-gil, Jung-gu, Seoul
서울특별시 중구 명동8가길 26 (충무로2가) 2층
Nearest station: Myeongdong Station
Directions:
Directions: Myeongdong Station (Seoul Subway Line 4), Exit 9. Go straight 50m and turn right at the first corner. Continue straight 70m and turn left.

Note: There are 3 Wangbijin outlets in Myeongdong. Here's directions to the one I went in this post which was less crowded! After the tourist information office, walk past lens story and turn into the first alley on the left. Walk straight for about 20 meters and you will see Wangbijin signage on the left and they are on the 2nd floor!

Ended the night with Zonia's favorite fried potato stick (3000 won). This is the only stall in Myeongdong that allows you to put your own seasoning! You can choose between onion or cheese!

Dear reader, because of the language barrier in Korea, it was a challenge to get the exact names and addresses of all the places I ate at! I will try to pen down the directions best to my ability. Hopefully, it is sufficient and useful for you to navigate there!
