Dyson Pure Cool™ automatically detects and reports air quality levels in real time on PM 2.5, PM 10, VOC and NO2. During the briefing, most of the other Mommies were most concerned about VOC so it got me more curious about VOC in our air. VOC stands for Volatile Organic Compounds, and it comes from a wide ranges of sources such as household air fresheners, aeorsol sprays cans, cleaners and disinfectants. Paints and glues are also able to release VOCs in the air. VOCs are extremely hazardous. Short-term exposure to various VOCs cause irritation of the eyes and respiratory tract, headache and dizziness.
People with sinusitis or asthma, young children, and the elderly may be more susceptible to the effects of VOCs so it is very important to have the air purified and clean.
2. Projects Powerful Airflow
Air Multiplier™ technology delivers over 290 litres per second of smooth, yet powerful airflow – circulating purified air throughout the whole room. This is perfect if you wish to turn off the air conditioner at times during the day. It is a feature I like a lot because Arielle sleeps without the air conditioner for all 3 of her day naps. Her naps are between 45 minutes to 1.5 hours, therefore it is important she gets clean, purified air for undisturbed rest.
3. Night-time Mode
Baby in jammies! We turn on the Night-time mode and the Dyson Pure Cool™ monitors and purifies the air, with the quietest settings. Even the display is dimmed when this mode is activated. Quiet yet still purifying and giving us optimal air quality levels while we sleep.

We do not have to get off our bed and walk up to the fan to change functions anymore! This is a simple yet very convenient feature. The remote control is also magnetized and sits on the top of the fan! It goes back on when we leave the room. No need to worry about missing remote controls anymore!
