Had dinner at G House Dempsey with my girlfriends last week after work! Having one of such catching ups with your best friends could really energize you for the rest of the week! I would definitely do this more often!
So G House is really grand and beautiful! I heard the interior's renovation cost a few hundred thousands! It has an outdoor wing where parties or wedding luncheons could be held too!

We were one of the firsts to order from the new menu as well! The next time, I would be getting a piece of foie gras! :P While we waited for our food to be prepared, we took a tour in the open concept kitchen!

The menu was so extensive, we had trouble deciding what to eat. We settled with King Crab Rilletes!
Apple-fennel compote, grilled brioche. It was many of our firsts time eating such a dish and we really loved it. Alvin liked it so much, he had wanted to order another one for himself!
The other side we ordered to share was Buttermilk Texas Style Fried Chicken which was served with homemade sweet chilli sauce.

I ordered an Angus Beef Double Decker Cheese Burger with sliced tomatoes, maple bacon and avocado.
I couldn't finish my main dish cause it was so huge and I needed help with it! But Angus beef is love!

Jing's Duck Confit came with braised red cabbage, scallion-bacon mash and port jus.
Denson's Roasted Lamb Rack which came with Lyonnaise potatoes and mint jus.
Denson has very high expectations for lamb rack and he was telling us how many restaurants would disappoint him cause it's not an easy dish to master. He took a bite and he wasn't disappointed. Yay G House!
