Yet another day at Sadhana Sanctuary! This could really be my second home. I spend so many hours a week at the school. If i'm not at home or at work, I will be at the school. Went for 2 of Bhanu's classes and his classes are always very productive and technical.
Basically, Sadhana Sanctuary's instructors teach very differently.
When I want to improve, focus on techniques I will go to Bhanu's classes. He would correct you exactly. A little off, he can still see and correct you!
If I want to work on my flexibility, I would go for Azmi's. I practice my splits in his lessons.
It's Chinggay's Pilates if I want to work that core. It's her classes where I get my abs lolol!
Henry's classes if I want to have a sweaty and shag out session. Perspire buckets.
Sandeep's hot classes if I want to be tortured (in a good way :P) cause he would make sure you work that body and shed some fats haha! Sandeep would always make me do the poses I hate, telling me to do it more if I dislike that pose.
Seated Forward Bend
Working on Paschimottanasana - the Seated Forward Bend with a block in front of my feet so my range can go further.
Standing Separate Leg Head to Knee Pose
Dandayamana-Bibhaktapada-Janushirasan - Standing Separate Leg Head to Knee Pose! I sometimes observe that students do this pose wrongly. It's always importantly to let the abdomen sit on the thigh before the head goes down.
Bhanu and Henry always stresses that it's not always important to touch the forehead on the shin. If your abdomen doesn't touch the thigh, you end up rounding your back which is bad for the back and the range is shortened.
Trikonasana - Triangle is a therapeutic pose that provides many benefits including strengthening of the core and legs.
Lift the chest towards the door.
Wide-Legged Forward Bend Twist
Wide-Legged Forward Bend Twist is a Shoulder opening pose!

Extended Side Angle
Utthita Parsvakonasana - Extended Side Angle pose takes on the stance of Warrior 2 pose, but embraces the spinal line sensations of Triangle pose.
