Arrived at the ferry terminal around 830am and got the next ferry out at 915am via Turbojet! (:

SAM_3485

As we couldn't confirm what time we would be coming back, we didn't get the return tickets. We checked that there is no difference in price even if you get return tickets together. The tickets are still 185HKG ($30)/ pax/ way.

Arrived an hour later first stop was lunch and visiting some touristy sites like St. Paul's Ruins and Macau Tower!

Piping hot egg tarts!!! 1 for 8 HKG (S$1.30), they are soooo good that I can eat a few of these and not get sick of them! Every time I take a bite, I wish I could take some home but they wouldn't be yummy anymore ):

Random Pork Bun stall cause we were hungry and haven't found a place to settle lunch!

SAM_3498

This huge pork bun (really huge pork meat!!!) is 25 HKG (S$4), and it's very good too! (:

Lunch at this stall cause there's the noodles that she wanted to eat and the place was very clean!

SAM_3523

And boy! They have A LOT of food that you can choose from!!

SAM_3531
and here's our lunch!! (:

Lunch worked out to 740 HKG (S$120), and it was sure very satisfying!! S$120 for abalone, sharkskin, fish, hashima is very cheap isn't it? Would go back for the abalone porridge and prawn noodles! (:

Back to being a tourist and took a cab down to Macau Tower!! Heard and watched so much about Macau Tower because of Running Man when Jihyo jumped down 223m! To the observation decks, tickets are at 135 HKG (S$22) per pax.

SAM_3566

The World's Highest Bungy Jump at Macau Tower will take its guests on a free fall at a speed of up to 200km/h for the ultimate extreme journey! Plunging from a platform 233m high, challengers will experience a 4-5 second freefall before stretching the 50 meter bungy cord nearly four times its unloaded length and rebounding at approximately 30 meters above the ground.

Using a guide cable system, bungy jumpers will be able to safely experience a few rebounds before slowly landing onto a specially designed airbag.

It was a little hazy that afternoon from up above so the pictures weren't very well taken but nevertheless, the view was breathtaking.

SAM_3592

SAM_3588
Some brave guy about to leap off!

There's some transparent glass floors on the Macau Tower for guests to have a feel of how high above you are!! It's pretty scary to just stand above the floor I tell you! I'm such a scaredy cat! :X

SAM_3611

Went back to the hotel to wash up and change to another set of clothes for the evening. This happens when you are vain and can't decide which clothes to pack in the luggage and brought way too many! :P

IMG_1570

Outfit for the evening to Mongkok was Hollyhoque's Tender Love and Care Cardigan and Monochrome Skater Skirt! This skirt is actually a 2-pc set, comes with matching tank top!

First stop at Mongkok has to be my favorite cold noodles stall at Argyle Centre!!!

SAM_3614
Bai Wei! Always long queue!!

SAM_3615

SAM_3616
My only order of 2 servings of corn, cucumber and spiral macaroni!!

Me is a happy girl!! :D

SAM_3620

Walked around Ladies Market to find a place for dinner. No particular cuisine and place in mind so we were just aimlessly walking around for a place that caught our eye.

Decided to go with the crowd, this claypot restaurant had a long queue of locals and tourists so that's the place we got to be. We waited for about 15 minutes for a table and another 20 mins for our food cause claypots take a longer time.

SAM_3643

SAM_3645
Kitchen is outside LOL!

SAM_3644
A LOT of different claypot flavors to choose from!

SAM_3647

SAM_3660

Our sumptuous dinner was only 338 HKG (S$55). MUST GO BACK WHEN I'M IN HONG KONG!!

Back on the streets for some shopping and roadside snacking! :D

SAM_3671

SAM_3669
Lok lok!

SAM_3640
and more lok lok!

SAM_3637

My favorite 老婆餅 (Lao Po Bing, Wife cakes) brand in Hong Kong! Hang Heung Cake Shop 老婆餅 comes in traditional red boxes with a pink raffia string tie! Unlike the rest of the wife cakes in Hong Kong, this is made fresh without preservatives so it can only last for about 5 days. You can image how soft each mouth is and literally melts in the mouth!!

SAM_3639

Got a small piece to share and will be back here on the last day to buy some home for my parents and grandparents! Hang Heung Cake Shop has quite a few branches in Hong Kong now, you can easily google for the outlet nearest to you if you are a fan! (:

SAM_3635
Ladies Market!

SAM_3634

SAM_3633
With En and only to find the guy behind us smiling in our shot when I was doing this post! HAHA!

En wanted to shop H&M cause she heard it's very cheap in Hong Kong so we were at Langham Place! My favorite hotel in Hong Kong is also Langham Place Hotel cause it's so convenient, located right above the huge shopping mall!

SAM_3701

Langham Place was beautifully decorated for Christmas too!! Sanrio-themed!!!! (:

SAM_3696

SAM_3690
So grand!!

You had to queue to have your pictures taken at the Sanrio corners and everyone was orderly queuing for their turn to take a picture! I wasn't ready to queue so I just went to the ones that had no queues :P

SAM_3685
Hello Kitty!!

SAM_3692

Nice photos and great food reviews! Didn't expect to find such in depth review of HK's food.

Oh btw, here's a short video that I created during our HK trip. Compiled photos of HK street scenes and short video clip.

Hi Zoe , may I enquire what time you went to buy Jenny bakery biscuits so that there's no queue? I am bringing my infant to hk this month and would like to get some too but with infant a bit difficult to queue too long. Thanks in advance :)
