Wednesday date night :P Wasn't told where dinner would be, just told to dress up! So I wore one of my rarely worn but favorite white dresses which was given by a past advertiser almost 2 years back.
So dinner was at Salt grill and Sky bar by Luke Mangan which serves Modern Australian cuisine. Have wanted to try this place while back so glad to be able to be dinging there! Sky Grill and Sky Bar is located at the 55th floor of the Ion Orchard building!
Set at the highest point on Orchard Road, the restaurant and bar offers a setting that is stylish, relaxed, welcoming and showcases the best of Australian produce!
Beautiful view but the glass windows were a tad too dirty :X
There's an observation deck on the 55th floor for guests to take a walk and get some good photos.

Very good ribeye but 300g was a little too much even for a man!

I enjoyed dinner a lot, the view was great. Nothing beats red wine with a beautiful scenery. If you haven't been there, you should at least once. The bill worked out to S$350 for 2 persons, pricey but we all deserved to pamper ourselves once in awhile! If you are calling to make a table reservation, you may like to ask for a window seat. A confirmed window seating is charged at S$20.
Ended the evening with some shopping at Takashimaya and repairing of my earrings and necklaces at Chanel. Why do the stones drop so easily ))):

Loving those high up bars and restaurants, when I lived in Dubai, I regularly visited the bar in the Emirates Towers - also a magnificent view!
