If you follow me on Instagram, you would have seen that I spent Friday afternoon with 100PLUS- Run for Good event at Kallang Wave Mall! We were there for a good cause, that was to run on the treadmill as fast and as much as we can!

For every 1KM you run, 100PLUS will donate S$10 to SportCares, an organization which helps improve the lives of underprivileged children, youth-at-risk, needy seniors, people with physical and/or intellectual disabilities and the disadvantaged in our community! I am never big on running, I seldom ran because I get nauseous most of the time during my runs. But hey! With an objective in mind, I conquered my fear and clocked 2.05KM under 20 minutes! I had to hit the 2KM mark whereby 100PLUS generously donated $50 for every KM we ran for that particular afternoon. So, after all that running, I contributed S$100 to SportCares that afternoon! Yay!

As a fan of 40 degrees hot yoga practices, I rely on isotonic drinks to replenish electrolytes. bicarbonate lost. Electrolytes are also known as minerals like sodium and potassium. You lose electrolytes when you sweat and you need isotonic drinks to quickly help you restore all the water, sodium, magnesium, potassium and calcium you have lost.

As Singapore’s No.1 isotonic drink, 100PLUS aids in replenishing lost fluids, energy and electrolytes to combat the effects of dehydration, heat and exertion, enabling individuals to achieve peak performance in our daily active lifestyle!

Those who headed down to Kallang Wave Mall and ran for charity like I did, would have bagged home a Soleus fitness tracker worth S$128 and a goody bag! Best of all, for every 1KM that you had ran, 100PLUS had donated S$10 to SportCares! A big pat on the back for all of us! (:

As most of you already know, I am an active person! I love vinyasa yoga classes best because of the dynamic practice! Exercising on the treadmill that afternoon gave me the adrenaline rush which put a smile on my face for the rest of the day! Thank you 100PLUS for the wonderful event for such a meaningful cause!
