Hong Kong Day 3

Welcome to Day 3 of our holiday to Hong Kong!
As Papa is determined to visit as many tourist attractions in Hong Kong, we decided to head to Macau!

We woke up seriously early that morning (yawns!), went downstairs for simple fare before headed to the ferry terminal to Macau!

After a hearty breakfast, it was time for ferry terminal located at Tsim Sha Tsui! It was a little walk over to China Ferry Terminal for the Ferry to Macau.

Though just a little walk, we got a little lost and had to ask for directions.
There were always Police on patrol, we got help from them!

I figured at least confirm chop chop, they won't give us wrong directions!!!!

Reached the Terminal in no time! Zonia agreed that China Ferry Terminal reminded me of our Harbourfront station. We were quite excited to board the Ferry cause ehhh, i think we haven't taken one before? Teheee!

The ride was seriously bumpy, Zonia couldn't take it well. She kept really quiet half way cause she felt like puking and she decided to take a nap to help take her mind off. I had a different approach; I stayed awake and kept myself occupied. I played with our itouch games and had the earphones plucked.

It was about an hour ride to Macau, we were a little lost yet again. So mommy got us onto Venetian Hotel's shuttle bus after clearing immigration. I'm glad we hopped onto that bus and NO OTHER!

Cause.....

We took a walk around the place and headed outside to catch the view (:

took a picture right before getting up the cab at the cabby stand!

We cleared our bladders and took a cab over to the Ruins of St. Paul's Cathedral! It's definitely a must go place cause we were greeted by tons of tourists when we alighted. omg.

After taking enough pictures, we walked down the shops and looked for the shop that sells local delights! Koi Kei, a very famous brand among the locals and tourists!

peanut candies

We bought their eggtarts to try and they tasted awesome! Piping hot and yummy!

i wished we could bring back some!

If you plan to walk down these shops after visiting the Cathedral, don't rush into purchasing the goodies once you see the first shop! Because, there are tons of Koi Kei down the road! Probably 5-6 of the same shops okay! Mommy saw that coming and so we headed for lunch (sucky to the max!!!) and we got the goodies just before we decided to head back to Hong Kong!

egg rolls made on the spot for us to try!

You don't want to carry them everywhere you go cause it's mad heavy! ): No B around, so I had to hand carry so many all by myself ):

It was another DREADFUL ferry ride back to Hong Kong! This time I got sick! Had to be the food I've just taken! Argh! I even asked my parents if we could like a helicopter back cause there really was such a service available!!!!!

It was a long way back to Hong Kong, and all were famished and tired.

fu lin

We asked the concierge for recommendations on settling on dinner and they recommended Fu Lin which was two streets away! Reached there and there was a MAD LONG queue! We ended up waiting for an hour till 9pm for a table.

But, the food were definitely worth the wait. We didn't have commendable food for the past few meals so this is seriously heaven! HAHA!

And we couldn't believe that while the restaurant was opened for business, the back half of the restaurant was holding a wedding banquet. LIKE WTH! They just had wooden boards placed up to block off the place? Siaooooo! And so, that's no wonder we probably took longer to get a table.

After dinner, we walked a little and also visited Temple Street which is also known as Nan Ren Jie just around the corner.
Nothing much to get. Tons of cheap watches! I got my Hello Kitty watch from one of the stalls there at a very low price. $4 or was it $2?  (After bargaining of course! Teehee)

daddy at temple street

There are tons of SASA and BONJOUR in Hong Kong. Every street, you will see these shops!
Bonjour is like SASA! They sell the same things.

They have SASA factory outlet too where they sell off toiletries and makeup at low prices!
This outlet is just outside Fu Lin restaurant where we had dinner.

I got some double eyelid stickers at $1.60 for a packet. Retailing at about $4 in Singapore's SASA.

So readers, the night ended with satisfying dinner and some shopping around the hotel! (:
I've got much more to share so wait up okay?

Places covered:
